The purpose in a man's heart is
like deep water,

but a man of understanding will  draw it out                      - Proverbs 20:5

I graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2011 with a Masters in Clinical Psychology, where my training was predominantly psychodynamic in orientation. I completed my internship at Tara Hospital as well as the community clinics in and around surrounding areas of Johannesburg, working with both adult and children. After this, I spent a year working at the Children's in and outpatient Clinic at Tara Hospital.

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA: ) and have run a private practice since 2011. During this time I have specialised in individual, couple, family and group work in my private practice and while consulting at the Glynnview Life Psychiatric Hospital. As I am trained psychodynamically, I strongly believe in fairly longer term work, the deep exploration of feelings and experiences and in being a facilitator not "expert" of someone's therapeutic journey.
